Etap Online Homeschool Curriculum Review
I always like to hear from people that have actually used a curriculum to find out details about what is good or bad, helpful or not. I was happy to find the following review by a mom using etap with two of her children.
Summary of video by homeschooling mother, Sara.
Sara has four children and she is homeschooling the oldest two children – one in 2nd grade and 3rd grade.
The family’s prior curriculum required too much planning and unforseen circumstances have prevented her from having time for such planning.
Her husband was concerned about state standards, wanting to make sure there were no gaps in what the children were learning. They decided to try etap. Etap provides a complete framework so she knows that her children are getting what they need at each grade. When time permits, she can always add creative activities
The kids love the videos and the flexibility of being able to move up to the next level when they are ready. Sara likes the affordability of the curriculum and the ability to homeschool on trips without carrying a ton of books. All that is needed is a computer and an internet connection.

I tried eTAP for my 2nd grader this year due to the low cost, plus wanted to try an online curriculum. We found it to be outdated and much too simplified topics. I even let my Kindergartner try it and she was not excited either. We will not be using it again.
